Charm is deceptive,
and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord
is to be praised.
Proverbs 31:30
My name is Alisha Richardson and I am the founder and owner of ThirtyOne:Thirty Events. What started as a dream became a reality in the spring of 2017 when I decided to leave my job in the world of corporate events and launch my own full-time events company. I was working a million hours and traveling nearly 50% of the time. With a husband and two children at home, that just wasn't working for me anymore. I made the leap to branch out and own my own business and it has been so worth it!
While I had been coordinating weddings professionally for nearly 5 years, to do it under the banner of my own company is unbelievably rewarding. We have met so many incredible people along this journey and every one of them has taught us something new about our job. We would not be the same without you. So thank you!
Above, you'll see the reason my company has its name. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and my faith is a central component of who I am.
When I'm not coordinating events, I'm a full-time wife to my husband, Matt, and mom to my kids, Aubrey and Theodore. They are my life and I love them dearly! I'm an avid coffee drinker, self proclaimed foodie, and lover of traveling.
Every once in a while...you might catch me on stage performing in Kansas City's professional and community theatre scene. Singing and acting is a passion of mine and I do it whenever I can.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you on your special event.
ALISHA RICHARDSON
Owner : Senior Wedding Coordinator
Hi! My name is Miranda and I am so excited to be here!
I am a ThirtyOne:Thirty bride turned wedding coordinator and I am thrilled to be joining this amazing team. I have a passion for all things planning and logistics, and I am so excited to unite that with my love for weddings and events.
I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. Prior to working at ThirtyOne:Thirty, I worked as a first grade teacher. I love making an impact in people’s lives, which is why I still work in childcare when I'm not planning weddings. My passion has always lied in helping others achieve their dreams and goals, I strive to see a vision come together!
Outside of work I love to travel. I have been to 27 countries and I’m always planning my next adventure. When I’m at home, you’re likely to find me cooking, enjoying the outdoors, drinking iced coffee, or spending time with my husband and our cat, Leia!
