Kim Garnier

Hi, My name is Kim Garnier, and I am a Lead Planner with ThirtyOne:Thirty Events!

ThirtyOne Thirty and its owner holds a special place in my heart as the owner is my daughter.  I am so proud of her and the amazing company she has built and the exceptional team that makes up ThirtyOne: Thirty.  Working as an event coordinator has been what I’ve done for most of my life.  Even before I was doing event planning professionally, I was always planning some kind of event whether it be a talent show in my church basement as a teenager or putting on birthday parties at McDonald’s, (when that was a thing) as my first job. Pulling a plan together and creating a WOW for those in attendance has always been my greatest joy.  Bringing to life a vision and watching it unfold before your eyes is what makes all the work worth it!

I was Raised outside the St. Louis, MO area and just out of high school spent a summer as a singer and dancer at Six Flags.  Pursuing musical theatre was a dream that led me to finding my way unexpectedly into television as a young adult and meeting my husband through a guest I had interviewed.   I have been married to the same man for 43 years and am a mother of 3 adult children and grandmother of 3. My days and weekends when not doing weddings are often filled with dance competitions, theatre performances, basketball games and more.  But my biggest delight is just having my family all together.  Whether it’s celebrating a birthday, watching a football game together and rooting on with passion our favorite teams, or just sharing a meal, the stories and laughter that fills the room is magical.  When opportunity presents itself, you might hear me singing our National Anthem at a sporting event, graduation, or chairity kickoff around the Metro.  This is something I have done since my high school days and find it a great honor when asked to do so.
